I deleted my gmail email and it deleted the emails on my computer. How can I stop that from happening?

I deleted my gmail email and it deleted the emails on my computer. How can I stop that from happening? I use Outlook for the Mac and save emails to folders.

THat happened to me and I complained to them. I got some of the material returned to, availavle.

Thank you. I will try a little complaining. Still, every time that I move a gmail email from my inbox to a folder, my computer connects to gmail and seems to be telling it where the email is stored.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
