She deserved better than what she got in the last few years of her life.

A source close to the family tells CBS News, "She is dying. " The source said Edwards would likely die within weeks and possibly days.

She posted a farewell note Lou Lou. I don't know why she has to be your enemy because she has different political view but:"But I say unto you, Love your enemies" .

She died. I guess she wasn't pulling a fast one. Rest in Peace Elizabeth.

She doesn't have to die. Celiac help may stop her cancer if she got that kind of help! .

It would be neat if she got Celiac help and healed fast and then people would learn about Celiac. Chelsea Clinton got some Celiac awareness out with a gluten free wedding cake and her dad is getting maybe getting Celiac help too...he changed his diet.

Celiac is the root cause of most cancers...so dealing with the Celiac helps. Celiac wrecks intestines so they don't absorb nutrients...then cells are not made right or work right. One person dies daily in my city...about age 50 due to cancer, who did Conventional treatments which hurt intestines even more.

Cancer returns to many people who did not get Celiac help...they never solved the root cause. Alternative medicine can help cancer. I am sorry your friend died... She did not get Celiac help.

I and my brother almost died from lack of Celiac help. My Uncle was told he had a week to live doing did Conventional cancer treatments. He is still alive 3 months later...taking vitamins and doing some Celiac help.It does work...if you would believe it.

Elizabeth, age 61 died after 6 years of trying to fight her cancer...they told her any further treatments would be unproductive. Alternative medicine with Celiac help would not have told her to give up. Celiac help...even in one day helps and with LDN is like a miracle.

If she had gone to Alternative medicine there is always help/hope! My Uncle did not give up...he knows he could live beyond the week he was given by Conventional medicine...his Alternative help works! Daily people are dying her age in my city of cancer...never got Alternative medicine/Celiac help which could have helped them.

Elizabeth was short and more...which is a "red flag" for Celiac. She was a beautiful person. I admire her very much!

So much for compassionate conservatives. "I did not find anything in Lou Lou's post that indicated she lacks compassion for Elizabeth. For that matter, I did not see or hear anything in the news that was derogatory about Elizabeth.It was derogatory about John, but not her.

She was a public figure. When a public figure dies, the media will cover it. I feel sympathy for her for having cancer.

I doubt she cared if it was in the news. I don't think I would. Also, as Lou Lou pointed out, she even asked to have a farewell note published.

I am wondering why both Lou Lou and Shasha both got unhelpful votes while everyone else got only helpful votes. I guess they're not on the protected list.

Elizabeth Edwards has not been Hounded by the press. She released a statement on her own. The press got the release and ran with it.

She could have just kept what was going on to herself and kept her situation private. I do find it strange that only a few days ago Edwards aides were in Federal Court testifying about the possibility of Edwards using Democrat campaign money on payments to his mistress at the time. Didn't John bring up his wife's cancer when he was in trouble last time or was it when he brought up his wife's cancer when he was running for President.

Many times things are not what they seem. Maybe in fact Elizabeth has plenty more time ahead. I wish her well, but I sure don't trust johnny boy.

It would be wonderful if the cure for celiac disease could help more people and sometimes I regret that I don't somewhat fixable. This, however, is not the case with Ms. Edwards.

I do believe in emotions making an illness worse, however, and altho she most likely would have been in this situation anyway, her sleeze bag of a husband didn't do anything to halt the progress of the disease with the performances that went on with hi m.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
