Clicking noise sounds like low battery. If the headlights come on bright, it is something else. See a mechanic.

The clicking sounds like the starter solenoid trying to kick in the starter, or the bendix gear just touching and not engaging. Thus a mechanic. Could also be something reducing the voltage to the starter/solenoid.
