First off... your PS3 connection is not going to be great... you cannot game on a 1mbps connection It's pretty bad. Second... just need to put your dsl or cable connection to your wireless router, then you connect your pc to that. It should give you an IP address automatically.

Depending on your device there, you can then connect to it via an IE browser.. usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.254.1 then you log in.. again .. look at the instructions it should tell you how to log in to it. Then you configure your wireless connection as you please and make sure you PS3 matches those settings... wala... you now have a slow connection for your PS3 :D If you're going to game, I would suggest a 5mbps connection.
