First, one needs to find what excites them the most. If this is not evident, it may be more difficult to determine the answer. To determine the answer, one may look into the past to see what used to be exciting.

If you discover something there, just modify it to stimulate yourself in the present. Also, one could look into the future to see what would be exciting. Bring that discovery into the present.

The present is all you really have that is real, but you can use the past and future to help create the present.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
