First, no DVD players work with Netflix. Some BluRay players do. Go to Netflix.com.

Click the "Not a member" link if it asks you to sign in. At the bottom of the big white box at the bottom, there's a link to see what devices can stream Netflix.

Contrary to TLW's answer, not every BR player that can connect to the Internet can access Netflix. Netflix has to specifically enable any device that wants to offer this option, and not all BR manufacturers are willing to pay for it. Follow the procedure I gave you above, and you will see the full list of BR players that can stream Netflix.

I had to enter my wireless router information into the tv through the instructions on the screen to get my Olympia BlueRay to stream Netflix. It was complicated, but if you have a 800 # to call Magnavox, they should be able to walk you through it, if yours is one of the accepted BlueRays. I don't recall having to do any wire hookups with an ethernet port.

The determining factor is whether your blu-ray player has an ethernet port for connection to the internet. Quite obviously, if it will not connect to the internet, it cannot stream movies from the internet. If it will connect, it should be able to stream movies.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
