I need help finding info about the artist of a painting I own. (See Details)?

I need help finding info about the artist of a painting I own. (See Details) The signature is just initials: PLT 85. The letters are all caps and rather angular with points more than curves.

The P is largest. The top of the L goes through the loop in the P. The T is smallest and tucks between the bottom of the L and the loop of the P.

The painting looks like a picture of someplace in the southwest. There is a Native American on horseback gazing across the desert, a lake and off to the Mountains. Features are very indistinct.

Colors are what I think of as desert colors as the sun is setting. Lots of purples, pinks, muted greens and blues. The artist used a lot of knife work in addition to brush work.

I believe it is oil, but it could be acrylic. I love this painting but no nothing about the background or the artist. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
