I read this book and felt happy as a parent Every parent and expectant parent should read this book. Grandparents and caregivers to young children should also read this book. The most valuable lesson from this book is that children can start the road on how to read and become literate from the day they are born.
How much a baby can absorb from a picture book will surprise you. Also, it is especially valuable for an adult to know HOW to read a book to a child in order to cultivate interest and inspire their curious minds.
I’ve been a writer for many years, but for many more years I worked in a university, teaching teachers how to teach reading and writing. So this website is about me, my life, my opinions, my books, my teaching and my feelings about being a writer. I read aloud several of my books on this website, and in my bossy fashion I have also included a spoken lesson on how to read aloud well.
Because I’m a writer, the site works like a book with chapters and a ‘contents page’. To find your way around, just turn the pages. If you want to browse, keep going back to the contents page.
At the end of the site you may like to leave a message, but do remember that whatever you write in the guest book will be able to read by everyone in the world. A huge thank you to Jo and Jesse Reynolds at Virtual Artists, and Annette at Niftycorp, who designed this magical website without ever losing their cool. Now to the beginning…aha!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
