I pressed the trash can button next to my xbox one on xbox one smartglass so how do I get back that xbox?

Depends some games do need an hd ( gta 5 for one skyrime legendary edition ) if you just want to play your games froma disc you don't strictly need a hard drive but if you want original xbox backwards compatability use dlc's or buy digital games you need an hard drive too long didn't read an hard drive isnt necessary but wil make your life easier.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
