Using a modem is no problem. Wintective will silently check if you are connected to the Internet. It will not start dialing.

Thus, emails are only sent when the modem is already connected to the Internet.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
