I want a girlfriend the next year. It's my new years eve resolution. How can I get a good one?

Times Square is sealed by the police once filled on New Year's Eve. This usually happens no later than 1 PM on Dec 31, and once there you cannot leave and re-enter. You are in a small intimate crowd of roughly one million people, a fair percentage of whom arrive drunk because the police sealing the area check for contraband such as alcohol.

Most of the more desirable hotels were solidly booked by the end of May, but you can probably find some in the outer boroughs with rooms still available. Free parking in Manhattan below 96 Street is like unicorns: often discussed but never seen. The Roosevelt (named for Teddy) is one of NYC's finest hotels, but not near Times Square.

Which bridges and tunnels have tolls, and the price of the toll, does not change, outrageous 24/7/365 Trying to take infants into Times Square for New Year's Eve may actually get you arrested for child endangerment. Also, as regards the 8 year old, are you aware that half a dozen topless women wander Times Square looking for tips? Becoming a big issue here.

THE QUESTION DIDN'T LET ME ADD A DESCRIPTION SO I ADDED SOME QUESTIONS HERE! THANKS IN ADVANCE! What are the best ways to get around NYC?

What is the best way to get to Hoboken, NJ? Where's the cheapest place to stay? Is there a toll on certain bridges on New Year's Eve?

What's the best way to view the ball drop? I have 3 kids, 8, 3 and 6 months. What's up with all the places in times square selling New Year's Eve tickets?

Are they worth buying? If so, which is the best place for my family? Is staying at the Roosevelt for $400 on New Year's Eve worth it?

What places are must see? Any free places to explore? How's parking?

How does that work in NYC? How much? -------------------------------- OMG YOU GUYS ARE SCARING ME!

Well i've never been to NY ... we all went to Vegas and did just fine kids and all. But the cold temperatures did sound scary. What if we bout tix to Dave & Busters for New Year's Eve and watched on screen?

I don't know better, that's why I'm asking :) Thanks!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
