I want to make a Lasagna now and freeze for Christmas. How long to defrost? How long to heat it?

Here is what I would do: If you don't get an answer that you feel will work, I would go to the grocery store, and go to the freezer section, and pull out a family size serving of lasagna that is the same size (or as close to) as the one you will be making. I would read the baking directions on the back of the box, and just copy that down and do the same with your own home made frozen version. I'm sure you can just preheat the oven and put it in while it is still frozen.
If you don't have a metal pan, pick up one of those disposable ones at the store...using a glass pan will make this matter more complicated, because if you put cold glass in a hot oven, it will crack. Good luck and bon apetit! .
Freeze lasagna/defrost FREEZER LASAGNA 2 pkgs. Lasagna noodles (DO NOT COOK) 2 (15 oz. ) containers ricotta cheese 3 pkgs.
Mozzarella cheese, grated 3 pkgs. Sharp cheese, grated 2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated Sugar, to taste Ground beef Prego or Ragu spaghetti sauce Cook ground beef until well browned, add spaghetti sauce and sugar.Heat.In 13 x 9 x 2 inch tin foil baking pan, spoon a little sauce in bottom of pan evenly.
Layer noodles, ricotta, Mozzarella, spaghetti sauce and Parmesan. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with sauce and Parmesan. Cover with tin foil and freeze.
Thaw. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 2 lasagnas.

Take it out the day before you want to bake it Take it out the morning before you want to bake it and put it in the bottom of your refrigerator, then move it to the middle shelf the morning of the day of baking. Then, take it out of the fridge an hour before you put it in the oven. I'm assuming you're baking it before freezing.
If that's the case, heat it at 250 until it's bubbly, about 40 minutes or more if it's still sort of frozen. You really don't want to recook everything, just get it good and hot for serving. If you're going to freeze it before baking it, then put it in at 350F until it's bubbling.
I'd allow an hour for this, at least, depending on how frozen it still is. Remember that lasagna holds its temperature for a while, so if you're a little early getting it out of the oven, put some foil on it and turn the oven way down. Great idea to have a meal ready to cook so you can enjoy your company!.
1 A good size lasagna pan full of lasagna will take almost a day to thaw.Be sure to cover your lasagna with a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap (I prefer parchment) BEFORE you put aluminum foil on it, before you freeze it. The foil will begin to corrode from the acid in the sauce. If your noodles are cooked (I recommend slightly LESS than al'dente) and your lasagna is at or near room temp it would take about an hour (less or more depending on the size) for the reheat.
I like to prepare casseroles to use later. Most I do will contain a pasta of some sort and I do like to cook the pasta a bit more underdone than one would if the noodle were to be served immediately. It allows for not getting a mushy pasta during the reheat period.
I will not suggest that you try to reheat directly from the frozen state as a lasagna is quite thick and just won't get hot in the center before you're completely heated through on the outside. You CAN take your frozen casserole out a day or two ahead and keep it in the fridge though! Bring it to room temp before you begin the re-heat process for the BEST results.
And a good thermometer probe to test temp in the center before serving is a good idea. Be sure to let the lasagna rest for 15 or 20 minutes before cutting.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
