I would like to wear foundation to cover redness and minor acne scarring. However, I have ongoing adult acne, should I wear makeup?

Based on personal experience, I recommend mineral foundation. Pure stuff, not the kinds filled with talc or other additives. Try Bare Escentuals, or another high end product."They" claim it's so good for your skin you can sleep in it - and I actually do.

This has resulted in less face washing which results in less stripping of natural oils, so my skin produces less oil to compensate, and then I break out less. Sounds counter-intuitive, but it worked for me.My skin looks great, and when it doesn't, I can cover it up! Mineral foundations are buildable - meaning you can add extra to problem areas and it stays put without looking like you applied it with a putty knife.

You might want to try a good liver cleanse & increase your intake of water on a daily basis, most acne is caused by too much acid in your liver or other toxins, try looking into a natural cleansing product for your liver & also try using mineral based make up to help your skin breath well still looking fresh & natural.

First of all, you have to daily take care of your skin. This means that in the morning you have to use a cleaning lotion for sensitive skin, a tonic lotion also for sensitive skin and a day cream with a big SPF (Solar Protection Factor). All this products will keep your skin clean and will protect it from the damage the makeup products can do to your skin.

After that, you can use mineral foundation and mineral powder. Before you go to bed, you have to clean your face again with cleaning lotion, tonic it with tonic lotion and apply a night cream for your type of skin. Once a week you have to use gomage, to clean deeper your skin.

Because you have redness on your skin, you have to look for a foundation with a little green in it. This color, green, will cover redness. In the parts of the skin were you have acne, the temperature of the skin is higher.

Because of this, some foundation will migrate from your skin. Look for a foundation for oily and sensitive skin. Hope this will help, @simi5.

I have very sensitive skin when it comes to makeup. If I wear the wrong kind, BAM my fast breaks out horribly bad. I always heard Bare Essentials was ace, but I could never afford it.

I use Trublend liquid foundation And Trublend microminerals powder. This stuff is absolutely amazing, and your skin looks fantastic. I haven't broken out once since I've made the switch.

Also, you may try simply washing your face with just plain water. I heard that it works better, maybe a little soap. I personally just wash my face with water and once or twice a week with clean and clear.

I used to have horrible acne when I was younger, but my face is actually very clear now. :).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
