He needs to make sure he has regular cholesterol and BP checks, makes sure his dr knows the family history, and never ignores chest pain by thinking it's just indigestion. Watch his weight and his diet. It is in the males of my family too, not the females but...grandfather dead at 47 (1940's), uncle dead at 54 (70's), other uncle heart attack in his 60's--survived, and lived into his 80's, die just 2 years ago, my brother heart problems (but not heart attack) but is alive in his mid 60's.
Medical care has made much difference.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
