If Christians teach God's views on homosexuality, are they obsessive, hateful, or closet homosexuals?

If......and I repeat if.....I was tempted with a homosexual thought that does not make me a homosexual. That means that I was tempted and the thought was rejected. But for the thought to be rejected something more substantial than forgetting the thought has to transpire.

The three examples in scripture of Jesus being tempted (see Matthew 4v3-11) result with Jesus replying with the phrase "it is written". Jesus uses the Word-of-God as the basis for rejecting the temptation. If I am tempted with a sinful thought.....say to view pornography....my response is to say "no".....for it is written....."That whosoever looketh on a woman to *lust* after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

So temptation is overcome by using the Word-of-God. The Word-of-God is a Sword and is the only offensive weapon the Christian has. The rest of the Christians armour is defensive.

(see Ephesians 6v13-17). There are three *stages* to "full embodied sin".

1. I know this won't help much, but most young girls go through various phases, including fascination with their girlfriends. It's part of maturing and becoming a woman.

2. I don't know what you think this has to do with being a christian, it's all about being a person and atheists also go through this exact same experience. When you insist on a "christian" answer you avoid all the intelligent and thoughtful people who might actually have a better view on your issue than a christian might.

3. You are old enough to look for some information about healing psychological scars on your own, but you won't necessarily find it from a christian source. There's some bad history of christian "therapists" who avoid using techniques and concepts that are proven from psychology in favor of prayer and bible verses which often make the situation worse by neglecting the true nature of the problem, and only reinforcing their own mistaken views about sexuality and psychology .

Please don't close your mind to helpful options that are open to you.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
