If I already filed taxes as being married but separate what will happen if my husband files single?

That's messed up. Married people have only two options: 1. Married filing jointly. Both spouses file a single, shared return.

2. Married filing separately. Each spouse files a separate return. The two of you are in store for some serious tax consequences!

File as: "married filing separately". That way you will receive the tax break that is due to you from being married. Unless he did it for some hidden reason, then your husband should file an amended tax form to correct his error.

If he doesn't, then you still should file as married filing separate. He will also get a larger tax refund if he changes his status from single to married. You both get more money back!

DOH!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
