I deferred my student loans after I got out of college, and my credit score did not get affected by that. If your creditor allows the deferment to your account, then it does not report negatively against your credit report. I am currently in Graduate school and all my bachelors degree debts are in deferred status.
The debt sits in a dormant yet reported state, but there is no activity based on current school status, or in your case, deferred status, and therefore is not being reported on in a negative manner. Once your deferral is over, it is important to begin paying on your student loans right on time. At that point you will begin to see the activity on your student loans. It even can improve your credit score to reduce the amount of student loan debt that you have.
Positive activity will improve your score, while dormant activity, as in a deferment, will not affect your score at all.
I graduated from school a few years ago and had to defer my loans for financial reasons. The place where I working relocated to a different city so I was between jobs for a couple of months income wise. I contacted the school lender and let know my situation and they assisted me with putting my loans in deferment status.
This did not affect my credit score in any way because there was no negative information on the account. Also, know that there is a six month grace period after you graduate before you actually have to begin paying back on your student loans. If you’re unable to pay on them following the grace period, you can contact your lender and they will help you evaluate your options.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
