I'm thinking Obama. Herman Cain is kind of... crazy.
Obama... america does not like change... which is why almost every president elected as far back as I can remember was elected for two terms... except Jimmy Carter.
I think it would likely go to Obama. Cain has proven himself to be very far from ready for the job. He has shown a lack of basic knowledge about foreign affairs, not that Obama has been a bright light.
Cain seems to lack in thinking through his proposals and themes, like 999. I'm an independent of Libertarian ilk and other than Paul I can't see me supporting any of the candidates so far. In all likelihood I will vote 3rd party, probably Libertarian or for Paul as a write in.
I don't care too much about the Cain scandals but I think his ship is sinking.
I'm with Ramsa, it would be Obama, even though I've been disappointed in his lack of ability to work within the political machine. The future doesn't seem bright either way really.
It would be Obama. The Cain Machine was picking up steam until recently; but considering Obama is the current President after Jeremiah Wright and that imbroglio, I'm sure Cain could get his footing again (lol). That was a lesson in 'comeback'!
It's just a critical moment for Cain right now.
I voted your answer down just to let you know that America, Obama and destroy don't seem matching words here. I noticed much more of your opponents, voted your answer down but I like to let you know, who did. I was one of them.
I think the word destroy is very over the top but I also think that who ever gets chosen.....Obama, Cain or anybody else....It doesn't matter. The promises Obama made were highly influenced by the powers of others, the huge amount of money involved in politics and the fact that America's survival doesn't rely, on just one man. If that would be the case, Obama would have given the people of America, what he promised from the beginning.
Sadly enough, he didn't but I doubt if any following American President will ever.
Wow, 4 Obama and 0 Cain. I was thinking Herman Cain, but after reading your answers am going to flip to Obama.
I think it would be Cain, but really, it all depends on how the economy is faring at the time of the election. Bad economy = bad for Obama.
I think Obama will win, Cain is smart but seems to be losing focus right now.
Obama. Too many women have made accusations against Cain and where there's smoke, there's usually fire. Can all of these women be lying?
Possible, but highly unlikely.
Obama, I believe he has the charisma to continue to lead the country.
Most certainly Obama. Herman Cain leaves much to be desired for me.
Obama, because it simply isn't wise to change horses mid-stream. And Bush 41 served one term, and Jerry Ford just finished out Nixon's failed presidency, serving less than a full term, making him the only president since JFK to serve less than a full term in office.
Chalk up one for Cain here, though I don't think he'll be the nominee. Right now, he's suffering from one of Axelrod's patented smear campaigns carried by a compliant media. If he survives it and goes on to win the nod, a rather low probability outcome (IMO), the general election race will look quite different.
Like any other of the candidates, Cain would have the inside track in the general because Obama is the most widely detested first-term president since Carter. He has been unable to resurrect either his 2008 coalition to run with him or W. Bush to run against, and being unable to run on his record or on new promises no one believes, his only option is utterly to assassinate the character of his opponent.
For that reason this is going to be the nastiest, most negative presidential campaign any of us has ever seen, but assuming the other side responds in kind the mud will cancel itself out because everyone, including Obama, will be covered with it. On a playing field leveled by dirt like that, he most likely will lose the game.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
