If Jesus is not Jehovah, Why does Acts 1:8 cross reference to Isaiah 43:10?

Congratulations on actually knowing the name of the Almighty God. Also, no, it does not make sense for Jehovah to want people to know Jesus died on a cross. Because he did not.

It was an upright stake. One piece of wood--in order to fulfill prophecy. Paul told us at Galatians 3:13, "Christ by purchase released us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse instead of us, because it is written: “Accursed is every man hanged upon a stake.”

Which is a quote from a prophecy at Deuteronomy 21:23. The cross is a pagan worship symbol for the Babylonian god, Tammuz. Which itself came from Nimrod.

The Bible describes him in Genesis 10:9 as, " He displayed himself a mighty hunter in opposition to Jehovah. That is why there is a saying: “Just like Nim? Rod a mighty hunter in opposition to Jehovah.” 10 And the beginning of his kingdom came to be Ba?

Bel ." In fact, he was the founder of Babylon. It no doubt has tickled Satan how easy it has been to fool the general public into his worship by way of the cross.

However, the point of the sacrifice of Jesus has been missed here. That is only by his sacrifice could humanity have the chance for forgiveness of sins. One thing it is impossible for God to do is to violate his own laws.

Hebrews 6:8 explains, "in order that, through two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to the refuge may have strong encouragement to lay hold on the hope set before us." To do so would cause many to not have faith in his promises and decrees. No ordinary human could be that sacrifice either.

All of us have inherited sin from Adam. It is why we all die. (Romans 5:12) Only one born without sin could take the place of Adam and bring balance of Justice and Righteousness.

Hebrews 9:22 tells what needs to happen for our sins to be forgiven and humanity brought back into the path to perfection. "Yes, nearly all things are cleansed with blood according to the Law, and unless blood is poured out no forgiveness takes place." Jesus had no human father.

That is how he could be born as a perfect human through Mary. A human could be a descent person all of their lives, but no forgiveness of their inherited sin could take place as well as their chances for a resurrection to live forever--without that perfect human sacrifice. As for evidence of his resurrection, we have the testimony of over a thousand people who saw Jesus after his restoration to his life as a spirit creature.

500 on one occasion. He never took back his old human body as that would negate his sacrifice and pain. Instead he took temporary forms used by angels for centuries.

His friends did not recognize him by sight, but only after observing him closely did they know who he was. That is how we know he was not using the same body.

Jehovah is concerned with pure worship and truth. He is also concerned with persons putting faith in the provision he made of the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This is shown in 1 JO 2:2-6:And he is a propitiatory sacrifice for our sins, yet not for ours only but also for the whole world’s.

3 And by this we have the knowledge that we have come to know him, namely, if we continue observing his commandments. 4 He that says: “I have come to know him,” and yet is not observing his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in this person. 5 But whoever does observe his word, truthfully in this person the love of God has been made perfect.

By this we have the knowledge that we are in union with him. 6 He that says he remains in union with him is under obligation himself also to go on walking just as that one walked. This is what Jehovah God is concerned with.

The cross in today's world is venerated as something holy and is worshiped. People make the sign of it, they hang it around their necks, they even bow down to it and kiss it like an idol. And we know how Jehovah feels about idol worship-1 JO 5:21-LITTLE CHILDREN, GUARD YOURSELVES FROM IDOLS.

Jehovah reads hearts so you best believe that all his judicial decisions will be true. Ps 19:9.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
