In my opinion it cannot be written because the way you have written you question is wrong. In the first part the 'Nine hundred' is a single digit. In the second part the 'twelve hundred' part is a double digit.

If you wanted to you could, as Merlin has done add the two together, 12,000 + 1,212 and get 13,212.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
