If people like David Berkowitz are not actually mentally ill, how do we explain the voices that they hear?

I would have to say they are ignorant. To harass someone who has a certain disease whether you know it or not is just plain dumb. It not only makes you look like a bad person, but it also makes you look stupid.

I know many people think they have good intent but in all actuality they are just being jerk and in this case it's no different. A friend of mine recently committed suicide and many people called him selfish (his girlfriend has a 3 year old) but they don't understand the kind of suffering people have to endure that have a mental illness.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
