If someone offered you 1 million dollars to never eat your favorite food again, would you?

Of course I would not eat it! That's not a problem for me because I would find another favorite food!

Easy I have so many foods I like to give up one would be nothing new as I already have for diabeties.

With 1 million dollars, I'm quite certain I could find a suitable substitute. There isn't anything favorite food that I have, that is worth that much. So I don't get to eat Doritos?

I'll live VERY comfortably eating Fritos!

I would take the money and never look back. I have given up other things this would be a piece of cake. Oh no pun intended.

I would never think about that food again.

Heck yes! I have a number of favorite foods so I'm sure I could pick just one to give up. I would even give up two or three.

Lol Just think what I could do with $1 million. :-).

In a heartbeat! LOL! I know, I know, I answered in another thread that I can't live without pizza, but money changes everything!

I would put that million in a very diversified investment fund and live off the dividends. As others have said, this would give me plenty of time to take cooking classes and find a new favorite food! Knowing me, I would find this new favorite in restaurants, though, not in any cooking class.

For $10,000, probably not. However, for a full million I may actually consider it. I enjoy many different types of food, so giving up my #1 item (probably pasta) wouldn't be a huge problem. My tastes may change over time anyway.

Besides, if I really set my mind to finding a new favorite food I could probably do it. Rather than worrying about missing the food more and more over time, I'd probably be more concerned with the practical aspect. Avoiding the dish at restaurants would have the potential to become a bit inconvenient.

I think I'd still be able to do it though.

I would take it. There is no food that I can't live without, and for a million I could easily live without whatever I think my favorite food is. (Honestly, I'm not really even sure if I have a favorite so I could give up that which I like a lot and pick a new favorite.) With a million dollars, I could take some cooking classes too and find something I like even better.

I have several foods that I consider favorites. I also pick up new favorites frequently, so......... if I only had to give up one of my favorite meals and the payout for that sacrifice were to be $1 million, of course I would accept. If however, I had to abandon all of my favorite gastronomic delights, then no, I would not accept the offer. To me food is an important element in sustaining life as well as enjoying it, so abandoning that which your truly enjoy solely for the sum of $1 million is not worth the sacrifice.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
