If you could banish Pat Robertson to any country for his comments, which country would it be?

Hmmmm....so many possibilities, most of them unfair to the countries that would subsequently be stuck with him. "Just like what Nazi Germany did to the Jews, so liberal America is now doing to the evangelical Christians. " - for that one, do we banish him to Germany?

Or better, Israel? "The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians.

NOW is saying that in order to be a woman, you've got to be a lesbian. " - we would need to determine which country has the largest population of lesbians, and send him there. Is there a Lesbia in our magic universe?"I would warn Orlando that you're right in the way of some serious hurricanes, and I don't think I'd be waving those flags in God's face if I were you.

" WTF? He was referring to an Orlando, FL Gay Pride event. - for this he would need to stay in the states, but someplace predominately gay.

Do NOT crucify me for this. I'm thinkin' the Castro in SF? Or Key West?

Or South Miami Beach? So much fun!"I know this is painful for the ladies to hear, but if you get married, you have accepted the headship of a man, your husband. Christ is the head of the household and the husband is the head of the wife, and that's the way it is, period.

" - OMG! I think he needs a brief visit to heaven - brief! - so Jesus can set him straight.

"I'd like to say to the good citizens of Dover: If there is a disaster in your area, don't turn to God, you just rejected him from your city. And don't wonder why he hasn't helped you when problems begin, if they begin. I'm not saying they will, but if they do, just remember, you just voted God out of your city.

And if that's the case, don't ask for his help because he might not be there." -- Another stateside dwelling - Dover, Pennsylvania where they voted to boot the current school board, which instituted an intelligent design policy that led to a federal trial. "God considers this land to be his. You read the Bible and he says 'This is my land,' and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, God says, 'No, this is mine.' ... He was dividing God's land.

And I would say, 'Woe unto any prime minister of Israel who takes a similar course to appease the E.U. , the United Nations, or the United States of America.' God says, 'This land belongs to me. You better leave it alone.'" -- Pat Robertson, on why Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon suffered a massive stroke. Another vote for Israel!

"You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it.It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war ... We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with." –Pat Robertson, calling for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

Okay, that's one for Venezuela... Regarding the 911 attacks: After Jerry Falwell said, "I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way -- all of them who have tried to secularize America -- I point the finger in their face and say: "You helped this happen," Pat said, "I concur. " Where in America would we send him, along with Jerry, for that one? Well, looks like we need to find an area in Isreal that is largely populated by gays and lesbians.

That should do it. We do not want to send him to Haiti. Those poor people have suffered enough.

I would banish Pat Robertson to Haiti. Let him live amongst the people whom he has made these absurd statements. Hopefully, he would learn the error of his ways.

He would not only see that the world is pitching in to help in a horrible situation, but the Haitians are going above and beyond and even being heroic. Haiti would no longer be an abstract place in his imagination, being a pawn between his God and Devil view of the universe. As part of his banishment I would make him study the real infoplease.com/ipa/A0107612.html history of Haiti.

Let him learn of the peoples struggles for independence and freedom from slavery. Let him see what it takes to live in poverty and ruin. I would hope he would learn to help and not slander, have compassion and not hatred, to be a force for good and not evil.

A country yet to be established would be best. There are several Extrasolar Planets available for colonization and every one of them would be great for Pat Robertson. If there ever was a better reason to fund the heck out of NASA and its endeavors to find new planets in the universe I have not found a better one than the lunacy of Pat Robertson.

nasa.gov/missions/highlights/schedule.html Here is The NASA Launch Schedule The next trip up by the Space Shuttle Endeavor will be on February 7th, 2010 and I wonder if we can wait that long.. I'm sure if we can convince Pat to go the way of Kirk the Earth will hold its breath for the launching of Pat Robertson into outer space.. for humanities sake. Ideally this planet would be nice for Pat ~quote Dubbed HD156668b, the planet orbits its parent star in just over four days and is located roughly 80 light years from Earth in the direction of the constellation Hercules. ~endquote Credit: ESO/L.

Calcada I prayed to God this morning and He said to me.. "@buddawiggi ..This is the plan of God.. Pat Robertson belongs in outer space.. send him and all will be well" So I am doing what I can by mentioning this here .. my duty as a servant of God to help Pat Robertson fulfill his destiny of extrasolar planetary travel and also fulfill the destiny of mankind. God help Haiti.

I have similar ideas as @twinpairs. He should go to Haiti. To redeem himself from the wrongs of saying “Haitian slaves selling their souls to the devil and suffering for it”, he needs to do the following to match: 1.

Haitian slaves selling souls : he needs to use all his money to bury the deads, cleaning the messes, rebuild Haiti.... until he has nothing left like a slave; 2. To the devil: he needs to pray for all livings and deads of Haiti; 3. Suffering: charity to reduce suffering of every Haitian For his ignorance and negative impact of his speech: He needs to study the Haiti history; be a teacher teaching the youngs about Haiti’s history and promoting Haiti to the world.

:-).

Eritrea comes to mind. It would be fitting for him to live in an intolerant, religiously fanatic country - but with the ruling religions different than his own. On the other hand, maybe Saudi Arabia would be better.

That way he would have less wiggle room and couldn't decide to belong to one of the approved Christian churches as he could in Eritrea.

Since the man doesn't understand the concept of humanity, I think we should leave him by himself, to fend for himself, with no one to watch him prance. Somewhere desolate and cruel. Like the middle of Antarctica

.

I would banish him to the USA where they practice freedom of speech and hold it to be of high importance among their constitutional rights. In the United States, people are free to say whatever they want without fear of banishment or commitment threats. The people of the United States of America hold dear and protect the rights of all views to be expressed and would never infringe on those rights simply because they find someone's speech distasteful.

They thought it was so important that the included it in the very first amendment to their constitution, and even the president takes an oath to protect those rights. Oh, wait.......

Samolia along with all the Libertarians who view lawlessness as a utopia.

I.gno. Country (your country) pretending its magical and absurd and i.GNO.rant.

Peurto Rico... cause Peurto Rico has nice beaches, good food, and good humans.. probably a lot of em anyway..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
