If you could only pick one characteristic, would you rather have a significant other that is smart, confident, passionate, honest, or funny?

I hate liars. I would rather have someone be brutally honest with me than to have someone make me think they are something they are not. I have been lied to way too many times in my life.

I have had fake friends and fake relationships to the point of cynicism. At the present moment, I consider myself to have few friends but a lot of acquaintances. My wife is my best friend and I believe the main reason our relationship is so solid is due to her honesty with me and vice versa.

True, we both have great senses of humor, but if for some reason our funny bones got broken, as long as we remain true to each other, little else matters.

I would choose them all if I could, but if I could only choose one I would choose passionate.

I had one once who was smart, but such a narcissist, I.e. No confidence. That was a disaster.

A man who is funny but not smart can get dull very quickly. Confidence without honesty, can make for an adept cheater. Many people settle for passionate.

But good in bed without honesty or confidence would feel empty to me. So I'm taking honesty, by default. What a relief we don't have to chose in real life!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
