Animals I would ike to be reincarnated as... Number one I would like to be large owl such as a Great Grey Owl or Barred Owl. I think birds of prey are just fascinating. Extreme senses and very graceful.
Number two a dolphin. It would just be interesting to explore the oceans from a dolphins perspective. Dolphins also seem to be one of the more intelligent animals in the world so you may be able to interpret what they are seeing.
You wonder what they think of humans? Number three a White Tail Deer buck. Just because I love the animals and find them fascinating.
I would love to understand how they think. Number four would have to be some sort of cat. I do not think I want to be a house cat...so lets make it a Mountain Lion.
Would be interesting to have that sort of strength and agility. Number five a Black Mamba...not that I think snakes think about much or have that interesting of lives but have always been fascinated by them and if you are going to be one might as well be the baddest of them all. Number six a great Ape...some our closest ancestors.
They live long lives and are very socialized. Would be interesting to be that strong and agile. Finally number seven...an Elephant.
They live very long lives and seem to be very intelligent and have very socialized lives. No real enemies except man...would be interesting to be in the mind of an elephant.
Let's go with seven 1. Dolphin - I'd like at least one of them to be underwater. I'd have to deal with tuna fishing and other major dangers, but I'd get to explore below water.2.
Wolf - The food might not be A++, but it would be really interesting to have that nose, I'd enjoy the running, and it would be interesting. 3. Panther - I'd just love to be a part of that majesty, the movement, and the cat-based grace and beauty 4.
Bonobo - it would just be really strongly amusing to me to live once as a bonobo. It's the sex part that made me think of them. I would just die laughing to realize I'd been a bonobo.5.
Hawk - red-tailed. If I'm going to spend on life swimming, I also want to spend one life in the air, able to see it all. And suddenly I'm realizing I'm spending a lot of time as really strong predators, so the last one should probably be... 6.
Floppy eared bunny rabbit. Because after spending all that time as a predator, I need to be some serious prey to round out this little experience. Plus, I love salad.7.
Bat - I was going to stop at six, but I realized I would really want to be a bat as well, due to the echolocation (so a microbat). Recap: one life in water, one flying/soaring, one echo-locating, one building my landscape more with my nose, one graceful, one terrified of everything and one really sexed up but human-esque..
I think that first of all I would come back as an otter because they seem to have lots of fun. Then to be a tad more serious I would come back as a wise old owl so I could fly around at night and scare the crap out of people who weren’t expecting an owl to be sitting on their front porch. After being an owl and getting a taste of flying I would probably come back nest as an eagle so I could soar to great heights during the day so that I could view the world from an entirely different perspective.By then I would want to have some more fun so I would come back as a squirrel so that I could play some more.
I already like nuts so I would make a great squirrel. Next I would want to be a humpback or blue whale so that I could swim the great oceans and see things in the unexplored depths that no man has ever seen. Nest I would be a penguin so I could play in the snow and get in a little belly sliding.
Finally I would want to spend my last life as a common spoiled house cat. By then I would be getting pretty old and a life made up of eating and sleeping would sound pretty good. A falcon. Yep, that would be the life for me. This bird doesn't eat worms. No sir!
Eagles? Those guys would eat anything. I want fresh meat.
Sex?... 'Gulp' Lets skip that part. I hear that falcons can dive at almost 200mph. Fermented berries!
I can see myself now, thundering along, drunk as a skunk, and here comes this bald eagle, pulling up along side me--wearing a badge! "Pull over boy, you in a HEAP of trouble!" 'Gulp'. Darn...you know, when I first started writing this I was thinking of Camelot with Arthur and Merlin in the forest, with Arthur wanting to be changed into a bird again...but now...realitly is rearing its ugle face.
Let's see...a virus...nobody messes with a virus? Oh yea, it's not an animal. Skunk?
No, I see them getting run over all the time. Bear? Too many hunters.
Fish? Too many nets. Deep sea, ocean floor fish?
Never see the light of day again? NOWAY! Ah!
I've got it. The Blob! Yep, that's it, the Blob.
It can eat anything--nothing eats it and it's almost unkillable. And, and put me in South America where they can't freeze me. Ha!
I'll show those pirranah a thing or two about glutiny! Yes, I want to be the South American Blob. Everybody come down there and visit me...bring friends.

... ;) First, I'm assuming when you say "animal" you're not including humans. If humans are included in this sense of animals, though, that's surely what I'd be. I rather like understanding and reasoning.
:) Assuming that's not allowed, though, my next answer is probably taking a different tack than expected, but I would choose to be an insect of some sort or another. Their lifetimes are fairly quick, and assuming we have a normal understanding of karma (i.e. A life without kama selfish actions or desires are seen as good and result in promotion in the hierarchy of life / nearness to nirvana or moksha), a few fast lives in which one has no negative desires or actions returns one to humanity faster than anything else.
Cheers, sm .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
