If you won a $10,000 makeover of a room in your home of your choice, which one would it be and why?

I would completely redo my basement. Right now, it is kind of laid-back hangout space (sofa, chairs, bookshelves, and TV), but I would love to make it an awesome man-cave for my husband, with a bar, theater system, and lots and lots of Red Sox memorabilia. He would be so thrilled, and he totally deserves it.

Well.. we don't own this house so I'd request to use it as a down payment lol If I had to use it on a room here I'd say the bathroom. This house was actually designed to be a day care and the tub is a motor home tub. It's about half the size of a regular one and lifted off the ground to waist level for easy kid bathing. As an adult.. it sucks beans though.

I majorly miss bubble baths.

I would choose my kitchen. I love to cook and it's my favorite room in the house. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen especially in the winter when I cooking warm comfort foods. It's so warm and cozy there.

:) I would like it to be bright and cheerful also maybe open it up more to the rest of the house.

I would have to say my living space, as I live in a studio...well it's part of a larger house, but my main living area is a studio style with a loft and high ceilings. $10,000 could give it new paint, flooring, furniture and of course entertainment unit!

My kitchen I have already done the bathrooms and have actually started purchasing the things I will need to redo the kitchen this summer, so why not let them do it. This would actually just pay for the countertops.

Adding or painting a headboard can also have a very powerful effect in the room. If you keep things under the bed in boxes, buy a simple bed skirt to make everything look more tidy. 10After a break or days later, organize smaller things.

This will really give your room the finishing touch. After you've bought the new organizing supplies, put them to use. This is when you can organize your closet (weave link), organize your bookshelf, desk and home office (weave links) and other small things like office supplies (simple sort them in pretty containers), electronics like chargers and such, accessories and anything that look out of place.

11Take a step back. Compare with your pictures. Do you have a perfect bedroom or what?

Reward yourself with something that smells nice like flowers or incense or another final touch for the room like a framed picture of your friends.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
