Just think instead of suing AZ over its new law, all obama needed to do was tell ICE to enforce current Federal Law. And yes it would be the ethical, moral and legal thing to do.

The Obama administration, to include former Arizona Governor, now Head of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, has been beefing up border security since March of 2009 in more ways than have been noted in the media.

This increased security includes more agents; more surveillance from the air and on the ground; more trained drug-sniffing dogs; locating and demolishing tunnels for transport of drugs, guns, or people; inspections of EVERY vehicle crossing into the U.S. instead of the former policy of just random tests; etc. Most recently, President Obama has sent National Guard troops to the borders to help border states. Under the Obama team, more deportations have occurred than with the previous administration, and there has been a crackdown on employers who hire undocumented workers. Recently, there was an AP article posted on Yahoo's Home Page which declared that illegal immigration numbers had DROPPED significantly, attributed in part to the bad economy but also to the measures put in place by the Obama administration.
