Try contacting the software company directly. One thing you can do is try to contact the producer of the software. I am working on my MBA and I looked on Peachtree's site, when I was evaluating accounting software for our business.

I found out I was able to get their top of the line software for less than 100.00. They will want verification of your school. But they are also interested in having accounting students or business students evaluate their software before going into the workplace.

I am sure this is the case with many other vendors. I believe Microsoft has the same kind of program.

On campus UCF has a separate computer/software store on campus that allows me to buy many titles for discounted rates. I would imagine that any of the larger schools would. If you go to a smaller school, your campus bookstore should have software, or the ability to order it.
