I'm a US Permanent Resident planning to travel to Toronto, Canada this summer 2007, what are the documents?

No matter what advice you receive from well meaning people like me, BE SURE (caps for friendly emphasis, not shouting) to check with Canada Customs and Immigration before you go. Try this page for Canadian Visa info: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas... Similarly I'd recommend that you consult the US Customs and Immigration website: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis If you have any unresolved questions for either government I urge you to PHONE them before you plan to travel. As a Canadian Citizen and US Permanent Resident, I am personally unfamiliar with VISA issues pertaining to either country, but whether you drive or fly you can safely assume you're going to need your POLISH PASSPORT and your US GREEN CARD, not so much for the Canadian government but because you'll definitely NEED BOTH to GET BACK INTO the USA.

If you're flying, the airline likely won't let you board without your passport and you should NEVER leave the US without your Green Card because that's the document the US government is looking for to ensure your eligibility to re-enter the country. If you want to be really safe and ensure a worry free cross-border travel experience, you could print out the requirements of both governments listed on their respective websites and carry them with your travel documents in case you encounter any questions (especially returning to the US). Hope the info helps and that you have a great visit with your friend wherever they are in Canada.

You may travel to and from Canada by any means with just your green card...that is the one and only thing that gets you back into the U.S. See site below and read section on U.S. lawful permanent residents. Ten look at the 2nd site and scroll down to the section on visitor visa exemptions to se that you do not need a visa to enter Canada.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
