There are several auction sites like eBay that are increasing in popularity as eBay sellers flee: Bidville is the second largest online auction site after eBay, and is a true eBay alternative. They do not charge you a listing fee, so you can list as many items as you like. They do charge a Final Value Fee, but it is low at 5% for items that sell for less than $25.
If you love the auction format, but hate eBay, Bidville may be right for you. ECrater is the third largest online store front. They are very easy to deal with, everything is completely free, and they help you set up an online storefront in minutes that will connect to froogle.Com Blujay is the fourth largest, but fastest growing online marketplace.
The items posted their also show up on froogle, and it is free. Sellers on Blujay can post unlimited ads, 4 photos per ad, with up to 180 day listing periods all for free. And like eCrater, every blujay member gets an online webstore to showcase their items.
Just remember, when looking for an eBay alternative, make sure to do your research and find somewhere you can really be happy with. The best thing about eBay is the free traffic. With most of these other sites you are going to have to work harder to get eyeballs on your listings.
I like iOffer. IOffer is an online community that allows you to buy, sell, and trade- just like you would in real life- by negotiating. Item listings, pictures, stores, galleries, and many other features are FREE on iOffer.
Sellers only pay a small fee after an item is sold. I have used it for quite a few years and have made sells on there. Take a look around and list something, it cost you nothing unless you sell your item.
Good luck. ioffer.com.
These are the two I've checked out in the past, they have a lot of members and viewers, but the fees aren't as insane as ebay. bidz.com ubid.com.
I just joined Bonanzle, and I love that they offer local searches (up to 50 miles), and allow you to import your ebay feedback. They also allow you to publish your items to Google Base, etc. Check it out at bonanzle.com.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
