I'm new here. Just how much of this site is modeled after Facebook?

1 presumably little to none. While we use it for social networking, the intended use of the site is for community advice.

2 Not at all like Facebook. But, in my personal opinion, a good place to meet & make friends.

3 Welcome to Askville! We are nothing like Facebook thank goodness.

4 The less like FB, the better. You aren't going to have someone asking you for 500 pounds of fertilizer for their farm so they can shoot up Guido's Mafia hangout and crapola like that. If that type of stuff were on here, a lot of us would be gone.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
