I'm quarter Puerto Rican, my great grandmother and her whole family wrote down white on all census...Does that me their Europe?

It is according to where the birth records are. Each state in the U.S. has its own laws about who, when and where a person can obtain a vital record on another. Many states did not start recording births and deaths until the first quarter of the 20th century.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
