In an emergency, what should I do after paramedics arrive?

The emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and/or paramedics will assess the patient and take vital signs. It’s important to let them do their work. Telling them to hurry will not help matters.

There are steps they have to take before they transport the patient to the hospital. For example, if a spinal injury is suspected, emergency medical services (EMS) will stabilize the victim’s head, neck and back before transporting. Moving a person with this type of injury without doing so could result in permanent paralysis.

Also some determination of the problem must be made to decide where best to take the patient. In the case of a life-threatening emergency, EMS will take you to the nearest hospital -- no matter what your insurance. Lights and sirens are only used in certain cases.

A safe speed must be maintained to ensure the safety of the patient, the ambulance crew and other drivers. Remember, while en route, the victim is being cared for by trained medical personnel who are able to communicate with the receiving hospital emergency room.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
