Inquiring minds want to know...Does warm alcohol (beer) get you 'drunker, faster' rather than cold?

I would like to tell inquiring minds that warm alcohol or beer can make you drunk faster than cold but very slightly because warm beer will mix up and absorb in your blood stream faster than cold beer but one thing which I would like to tell you is that whenever I had a warm beer, I had some problems in my stomach so instead of drinking warm beer, one should stick for drinking cold beer which is more crispy and tastes better.

I would think cold beer because it would taste so much better cold that you would drink it faster.

I read an AMA article a few years back on this subject, and no. Drinking warm alcohol does not get you intoxicated faster than drinking cold alcohol. Here's why: When alcohol hits your stomache, your digestive acids change it's chemical make-up by breaking it down.

This creates heat and within milliseconds, the alcohol is 98.6 degrees (body heat) so that your digestive system can go to work. This is a built-in bodily defense because any liquids colder than 98.6 degrees sitting in your stomache for any length of time (even by just a few degrees) would cause extensive damage to the lining of your stomache. Basically, hot or cold, alcohol is absorbed at the same rate.

I totally agree with london guide, completely, 100%. :).

Haha, No! Just tastes like crap! Absolutely, positively no.

Funny joke :P.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
