Installing Linux alongside Windows versus installing USB?

Several makes of computers that were shipped with Windows 8 pre-installed were disabled from booting anything but Windows, which you would have thought the anti-trust cases would have deterred. HP is one company who appears to agreed to block any OS except Windows. None of the suggested ways have worked to set my HP Sleekbook to dual-boot Windows & Linux.

Just another example of big business locking out the competition because they can afford to do it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
