Is Altrincham or Knutsford better?

For tourists For tourists, Knutsford, because it has Tatton Park, in May it has the UK's biggest travelling funfair, and the May Day parade (this year taking place on the 1st May). It has a Moor, with a children's play area, which is very safe. Also it has a lot of restaurants and hotels.

For shopping For shopping, Altrincham. Knutsford does not have pedestrianised streets, (apart from 'new street'). Altrincham has a bigger range of shops, but Knutsford has a sweet shop.

For transport For transport, Altrincham, by far. Trains: they both have as equally appalling trains, the Northern Rail 17 (it is a fact that that is one of the poorest lines in the UK). However Altrincham station has information screens and an announcement, unlike Knutsford.

Busses: Knutsford has terrible bus services, Altrincham is much better. It has approximately 15 indoor bus stands at the main bus stop, which is part of the the railway station, and has bus stops almost every 20 meters. In Knutsford the main bus stop has 3 outdoor bus stands, has no connection with the railway station whatsoever, and does not have many bus stops around the town.

Metrolink: Knutsford does is not served by a metrolink, but Altrincham is one of four end stops of the Manchester Metrolink. For entertainment For entertainment, it depends on what sort. Cinema: Altrincham.

Altrincham has a 6 screen cinema and it was voted the UK's best cinema 2006. Knutsford cinema is not very good, as it is a 1 screen cinema, and does not have many films showing, however the tickets are cheaper, but Knutsford does not show films in 3D. Both cinemas are located next to their town's train station.

Kids: Knutford, because it has a central playground and one in Tatton Park, plus a new one built on Longridge. Overall, Knutsford is better, mainly due to the fact that the place itself is a lot nicer, the facilities and amenities are not necessarily better. Please do NOT delete this because it took a long time to write.

Thank you.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
