Is Goodyear phasing out its practice of allowing non-Goodyear employees to ride in their blimps?

At a recent fundraiser I lost out on the chance to ride in the blimp around Akron. Somebody said it was particularly valuable since it wasn't going to be available to the public for much longer. Was it a scam to get more money for the prize?

Rides on the Goodyear blimps are available at the invitation of the company only. Most of the lucky riders are Goodyear customers, winners of local charity auctions, local dignitaries, or members of the press."Available:goodyearblimp.com/faqs/faqs_flying.htmlI" rel="nofollow">goodyearblimp.com/faqs/faqs_flying.htmlI hope this helps--and good luck! I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
