Is HDMI worth the extra bucks on Xbox 360 elite?

All Xbox 360s come with HDMI connections now -- not just the Elite. Today, all Xbox 360 consoles come with a port for HDMI. Check the box though, since the older builds do not.

The Elite comes with the HDMI cable. You have to buy your own for the other consoles. Sources: Microsoft .

Doesn't matter anymore, all newer XBox 360 Premiums have HDMI capability, not just the Elite Actually, unless you get the core system, which I discourage, you will get HDMI with the XBox 360. Originally, only the expensive XBox 360 elite had HDMI available and the core and premium only had component and VGA connections. Now the premiums are shipping with the HDMI connection (not necessarily the cables.) I would definitely recommend getting the premium edition instead of the core as it's considerably worth the price difference, but I wouldn't go for the Elite since you only get the benefit of the larger hardrive and the black color.

In my opinion.... ....I wouldnt bother wasting the money, unless you have a killer Surround Sound systemand HDTV... All the HDMI does is puts the 8 composite cables (6 for picture, 2 for sound) into one cable. Makes for a cleaner set up and all, but Ive not noted any improvement in the quality of the picture or sound when running it through HDMI rather than the standard composite cables... Also, I read in Xbox magazine this month that, unless youre running the top tier HDTVs with top tier sound systems, the HDMI isnt any better than the composite cables it comes with. Wish I knew that before wasting money on the HDMI inputs!

Ive only got a medium grade HDTV! .

The new XBOX 360 Premiums come with HDMI now. Only $350.

Hard drive space I think the big difference is the increased hard drive space. New units on all levels: arcade, pro, and elite are shipping with HDMI now so if you can find a Pro with HDMI then the only real difference is the 120gb HDD vs the 20gb HDD. I personally would go with the Elite for the extra hard drive space, especially now that Microsoft has announced that they will offer original xbox games for download .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
