Is Islamabad a beautiful city? Are there many gardens and palaces there?

You are under some illusion. Islamabad is a good city to live. There aren't many gardens here but greenery is lot more than other cities.

Second, there are only two palaces here, first is the prime minister house & second president's house! It is somewhat cleaner than other cities. Another difference you'll note that it is a planned city so you'll see schools, colleges, (few parks) & markets in good proportion around the city & due to this reason the traffic is much more better than other cities.

Other than that, the population is a lot less than Lahore Karachi etc so Islamabad doesn't seems to be very congested. Islamabad was built in the 1960's, so there is no "old city/andron-i-shehar" here like in Lahore, etc. You'll see a lot of difference between the rich areas & the medium & lower class areas in the city. So if you are visiting, don't be awestruck by the elite class areas, move around & have a look at the middle & lower class & the kachi abadis here.

Other than that, its like ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
