Is it ever appropriate to use Bob and me went to the store, as opposed to Bob and I?

I don't think Bob and me is considered proper English.

Bob and I went to the store," is correct. Thanks!

Here's how I taught my children about this one. First say it as if you were the only one going to the store. You wouldn't say "Me is going to the store."

You would say "I am going to the store. " Therefore if you add Bob to the scenario, it should read "Bob and I are going to the store.

Oh thank you for your replies it does make perfect sense :), and I meant "Me and Orson Welles" of course! I am guilty of over correcting and just wondered!

When I was at school both "Bob and I" AND "me and Bob" were considered appropriate. I am not sure about "Bob and me", though.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
