Is it illegal for employers or other employees to not provide help if there is a medical emergency?

These are not your parents! And neither are you with an international company 'requesting you to move' as an expat. You are in the same position as a local employee - - you have permission to work in the UK - you have a job offer.

Other employees are not given accommodation when moving area Unless it was in the offer letter (eg 1 month temporary relocation accommodation) They may offer the names of some rental agencies or maybe some cheap hotels (Ibis, etc) - go look on Hotels.com etc so you can spend the 1st week or so before you are employed researching what is available anything else, you are in exactly the same position as a local employee 'You' are the one requesting to come to the area. 'You' are the one responsible for all your arrangements The Company has only offered you a job and been kind enough to support your work permit. But yes, ask the HR department what relocation assistance they can provide just do not expect anything special for your extra distance.

100 miles, 10000 miles, it is still moving. Bring your credit card - you will need it.

Not unless they state in your contract they will provide accommodation, otherwise you sort it yourself. If an employer gives you accommodation, they would have to do it for all their other staff on the same grade too.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
