YES, it's OK to warm the food...BUT...NOT in the can I do it with the cat food, too. It just doesn’t look too appealing with all the fat being cold and solid. I just dump the portion of food from the can onto a coated paper plate, break it up a little with a fork and nuke it for about 30 seconds....just enough to bring it back to ’room temperature’.

With the dog food cans, I’ll also run just a little hot water in the can, give it a stir and pour it over the warmed food...gives it a little ’’gravy’’ and saves that little bit of food that’s always stuck in the can. Just remember...no cans or metal bowls in the microwave.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
