Is it possible to connect an iPhone to a wired internet connection by way of a dongle of some sort if there is no WiFi available?

I've often had the same problem with my iPod Touch, no wifi but ethernet available. There is at least one company I know of that is working on such an adapter, but none available right now. A possible solution would be to carry an Airport Express or any other small wireless access point.

If you buy one before you have access to a computer to configure it, you may want to ask someone at the store where you buy it to help you configure it there. I believe the Airport Express is plug and play, so you could probably use it without configuring it (ask a salesperson to make sure). If you have a laptop, you could plug it into the ethernet jack and set up an ad hoc wireless network if it has a wireless adapter.

Or if you know someone else in the hotel who is willing to do this, you would have wireless access from your iPhone.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
