Is it possible to revert back to a previous version of Windows Live Messenger? The updated version is terrible?

If you go to control panel and then to add/remove programs, there should be a program called "Window's Live Essential's. " You can remove messenger by uninstalling that. If you are using windows xp, restore your system to the previous checkpoint. Windowns XP automatically creates checkpoints before you install any new software. So its the easy option.

The other option is to uninstall the Live messenger and reinstall the older version.
