Is it safe to delete SQL Server? I don't think I need it. XP SP2, Office 2007, Access 2007?

I don't think I need it. XP SP2, Office 2007, Access 2007. I'm the only user -- no network, no groups.

My question relates to whether SQL Server does anything behind the scenes as I use these other applications (Office 2007 Small Business, Access 2007). As it's a few hundred MB, and I never use it, I'd like to delete it. Will my computer explode?

You can safetly delete SQL Server from your XP computer. SQL Server is a separate database application. If you were the only user and had no applications using it, then you can safely delete it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
