Is it wrong to breed a purebred pet?

People should breed animals for the love of the breed and because they have a desire to improve that breed. The best breeders make very little actual profit for their time and investment. Money and greed are never good reasons to breed animals.

Those who breed with profit in mind generally produce inferior animals. Pet-store puppies often come from puppy mills and are raised in cramped, dirty conditions with little human contact. Amateur breeders who may be well-intentioned may not have the knowledge they need to breedhealthy animals, and may inadvertently add bad genes to the pool.

Purebreed dogs should always be tested for inheritable defective genes before they're bred. I've only owned one purebreed dog, a male German Shepherd, we bought from a farmer. It was an excellent dog, very friendly and so handsome!

Apparently this guy knew what he was doing or we just got lucky. We weren't able to keep him when we had tomove, unfortunately. I don't necessarily think there's anything wrong with continuing to breed dogs as long as the people involved have their hearts in the right place and it's for the good of the breed.

But there will always be a certain segment of society that is in it for greed. Puppy mills need to be shut down! As far as the "every living thing has a right to reproduce" idea, that's just silly when you're talking about a dog or other domestic pet, and there are already too many pets who need homes.

That female animal is not going to spend her days pining away because she never had a litter of whatever. The responsible thing to do is to spay any pet that is not of breeding quality.

There are a few pointers to breeding. Firstly, it is important for animals to be bred in a loving environment and not just stuck in a cage. It is important to first research if there is a current market for the breed or type of animal you are wanting to breed.

You also have to ask yourself, what are you going to do if the bred animals are not sold. Yes, there are so many animals wanting and needing new homes but there are also individuals who have prefer full bred animals. A lot of the animals in care homes are a result of changes of circumstances, which can happen to anyone and other perfectly good reasons as well as bad.

Unfortunately as long as humans have pets, the situation is not really going to change much.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
