Is the Charles Daly Field Hunter 12 gauge ultralight a good choice for upland hunting?

Yes. My 20 Guage Miroku does well with dove and quail,squirrel, and rabbits. Just practice and make sure to pattern it with various ammo and shot sizes.

I love no. 4's for squirrel and rabbit and no. 7 1/2's for birds but my shotgun prefers 5's and 8's as shooting paper has revealed to me.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
