Is the quarter life crisis becoming as common as a mid life crisis?

I've never heard of this but maybe this is why young people drink. Or maybe it is more prevelent now that young people don't drink like years ago. This problem could be due to the economic problems of the Country or maybe due to a changing culture.

Anyway I don't think it's much of a problem.

Firstly I can say that QLC I can see as really common. As times change for the better (e.g. World of technology, diversity in study areas, new social conditions, media) younger people are more challenged with their lives. It gets more difficult for people in their mid to late 20s to stand on their feet and survive this tough world. This is only going to become more common, and in the nearer future we will probably see early 20s or pre-20s go through this phase.

I believe previously, in the last several decades, the midlife crisis was the more common thing (40s). We are now in the new millennium and as I mentioned earlier things such as technology-growth and diverse areas of studies are expanding...life is becoming more challenging for these individuals. It's hard to get a well paid job if you do not have a specialised degree and/or knowing the right people who can "hook" you up with a foot-in-the-door.

And it doesn't help when mortgage rates keeps fluctuating at a high rate, and most houses are getting pricier unless you rent or buy a property that is quite a distant away from your workplace. I do believe that not all individuals will go through the QLC, though, I do strongly believe that QLC occurs for an individual when all aspects of life is at a crossroad or things are going too well. For eg. You've been in your current job for 3+ years and you do not know what is to come next or what you really want to do.

Your relationship of 5 years seems to be so-so and it's nothing special like it was before. Your friends of the same age are married or getting married and they've either had a child already or they've already bought their first home.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
