While there is no, properly speaking, goddess named Gwendolyn, there are many figures in British mythology (Arthurian/Merlin) with that name (sometimes spelled differently) which have super natural powers, are queens of fairies and so on. These women do frequently figure into neo-pagan/wiccan/ecclectic religious systems as being synonymous with the Goddess, if not actually goddesses in their own right.
