Is there a plant I can buy,or food for a dog that has the same taste and results as when he eats certain weeds?

Is there a plant I can buy,or food for a dog that has the same taste and results as when he eats certain weeds. My dog has just turned 15 yrs old. He had no problems finding certain weeds,or plants that he ate to relieve his stomach,much as humans with Bepto-Bismol.

However he is aging and not able to go where these weeds or plants are more accesible. I don't know how much time he has left,so I want his exit to be as comfortable as pssible. He is due for his shots next month and I'll have the opportunity to ask the Vet.

3 Thank you librarian_truff,that's the idea I have,but I was hoping to get a specific plant. One time he was eating some weed by a tree,and I dug some out by the roots to try to replant,but it didn't work. The weeds died.

But if I knew specifically,then maybe I can buy seeds and start like that. This user has been banned from Askville.

Truff replied to post #3: 4 believe it or not. Some weeds that seem like they can spring up anywhere and thrive on almost nothing are cranky about being transplanted. I've tried it w/ a few myself.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
